Mihaela Cristescu
Mihaela Cristescu was born in Romania. She holds a B.Eng., a B.A. in Literature and a Masters in Linguistics. Her published works in her native country include: Nods, Twelve Hierophanies, The Rhythm of Life, Generative Fortresses, The IT Solander, Archetypes in Code-Mixing Poetry, The Way You Dare, The Death of My Australian Foreigner. Cristescu is a Guest Editor for the annual publication ZineWest, Western Sydney Writers, the Editor of the Romanian-Australian Anthologies of Contemporary Poetry and Prose: Pounding the Pavement (2016), On the Wallaby Track (2017), Perspectives Between Dusk and Dawn (2018), Arguments Avant la Lettre (2019), 9000 Miles Away (2020), Stay A While (2021) and the coordinator of the Romanian events at the State Library of NSW during the Multicultural March program 2014–2022.
