Lee Emmett

Lee is a mother of two and was for many years a teacher. She started writing again after the untimely death of her beloved husband, Bern, as a way of dealing with the pain. She has had stories and poems published on voicesnet.com, and poetry in the From The Ashes anthology, and shares work extensively in online spaces. She says about her writing, “Theses days usually I dash off some passing feeling and release it like a captive pigeon, never to be seen again…” When she isn’t home watching the cycling, or looking after her small holiday stay business, she loves to put miles behind her, and get out and see the world.
