Gaza Verse is a commanding contemporary publication functioning as a citadel of literary and artistic resistance.
Gaza Verse is released annually through the Gaza Poets Society and GCA. It was started in 2025 by Mohammed Moussa, who also founded the Gaza Poets Society. This publication welcomes any creative person who makes art or writes a piece in solidarity with Gaza. The first edition was released on October 25, 2025, and the second edition will be published in October 2026.
The theme of this edition is Under One Sky, Voices Without Frontiers, Global Dialogue.
In today’s “under one sky voices without frontiers” edition is a wonderful chance to bring together fresh voices under one sky, the sky of Gaza, in the Gaza Verse Journal, a Journal from Gaza to the world.
Continuing this necessary work matters greatly right now. Artists creating in solidarity with Gaza-Palestine need visibility, a secure space to display their work, and access to a worldwide audience.
We were honored to introduce Gaza Creative Allies in 2025, dedicated to supporting creative professionals worldwide and working with them to increase awareness of the genocide in Gaza while speaking truthfully without fear of censorship. For this second issue, we collaborated with an inspiring creative partner to make this publication a reality. We highlight new voices and original artwork from talented creators in various countries.
Our goal at GCA is straightforward: gather talented people from every corner of the globe, help them build connections, motivate one another, and maintain the important creative bond and support for Palestine that matters to all of us.
With a small team and an overwhelming number of submissions, we couldn’t notify everyone individually. We hope finding your work published will be a beautiful surprise!
Thank you to everyone who submitted. Full volume arriving October 2026.
Thank you for being part of this journey with us.
This journal is a small thank you to every creative who stands in solidarity with Gaza.
