Kris Erskine
Kris Erskine (FSAScot) is a writer and an academic. Writing mostly nature and battlefield poetry, fairytales in various forms, and also on early medieval site continuity, Kris uses encounters and passing scenes as tinder to find routes to new stories. Kris was born in a national park and now lives in the foothills of another, quite by accident. A peripatetic wanderer in between, she's written on folklore and oral history contributions to interpreting the archaeological record, the profound importance of place names to understanding human movements, and had everything from bed time meditations to horror poetry published.
